The first wheelchair sent to Uzbekistan has been donated to Ms. Hadicha who has been suffering from a hernia for 3 years and is no longer able to walk by herself. She has been requesting a wheelchair from the government for quite a while because her economic situation doesn’t allow her to purchase one. With delight in her face, she conveyed her deep gratitude to all the people involved in bringing this special gift that will change her life. ‘I will go out to the street for a walk with my husband every day.’ she says.
