A Visit to Peko-chan at Fujiya

We visited the Fujiya office where the confectionary’s mascot, Peko-chan, greeted us with her signature pigtails and overalls, licking her lips.  The purpose was to thank Fujiya for their donation of baked goods we took along to Cambodia this past year and to ask if they would consider doing the same for next month’s trip to Myanmar where we will be distributing wheelchairs and visiting an orphanage. We were not disappointed.  We will leave with these goodies in tow. They kindly also supplied us with a sampling of some of their chocolates.  What a sweet visit!
