Eden Centre in Yangon, Myanmar

On January 24, 12 volunteers from Wheelchairs of Hope visited Eden Centre for Disabled Children in Yangon, Myanmar. The founder, Dr. U Tha Uke, a pioneering physiotherapist, kindly showed us the Centre. We were impressed with his warmth and the quality of the program. Children receive physical therapy and classroom instruction and we also saw the hydrotherapy pool where children exercise. We were privileged to donate five pediatric wheelchairs.
