Mito’s 36th Wheelchair Cleaning Day

The 36th cleaning day in Mito was held on a beautiful spring Sunday afternoon. There are precious few 5th Sundays.

Twenty-four volunteers gathered, some were local while others traveled from a distance.  Some were very young, some were students and teachers from a vocational school.  Some learned about the project through publicity, others were invited by friends.

Together they worked hard, enjoying the work and then the delicious meal and cakes when the work was finished.

The next Mito wheelchair cleaning day will be the 5th Sunday in July, July 30.
