Whut Yee Min, age 31, lives in Myanmar. She suffered from polio at age one, and her left leg was especially affected.
Whut Yee Min lives in a region rich with nature’s blessings; hills, river and a variety of trees. Many people there cultivate rice, beans, and sunflowers for their livelihood.
Whut Yee Mi attended AAR Japan’s (Association for Aid and Relief) Vocation Training Center in Yangon where she learned tailoring. Equipped with this skill she now works out of her home. Recently she fell, breaking her left leg, and though it has healed, she has a fair bit of pain. AAR Japan partnered with us by delivering a wheelchair to her. Whut Yee Mi is now able to work without pain. We hope that she will attain her goal of becoming a tailoring instructor someday.
